Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Collections/Billing Representative for its Physicians Billing Group. Under supervision, you will manage billing, collections and customer service actions to resolve accounts, ensuring claims are submitted accurately and in compliance with payer guidelines.

The role requires knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, MSI, Champus and commercial carriers, plus strong English communication and teamwork within the Health System.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical professional fee billing including Medi-Cal, Medicare, MSI, Champus and commercial insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to review and analyze patient accounts to bill and collect revenue.

Responsibilities

• Handle billing, collections or customer service actions to resolve accounts.
• Review billing edits before submitting claims to ensure clean submissions.
