Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Collections Representative to support the Physicians Billing Group. Under supervision of the Billing Manager, you will manage billing, collections and customer service actions for the assigned accounts.

Responsibilities include reviewing claims edits, pursuing payment, and ensuring accurate submission across Medicare, Medi‑Cal, commercial insurers, and workers’ comp. Strong English communication and healthcare billing knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical professional fee billing with multiple payors.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to analyze patient accounts for revenue recovery.

Responsibilities

• Handle billing, collections, and customer service actions to resolve accounts.
• Review billing edits prior to claim submission to ensure accuracy.
• Follow payer guidelines (Medicare, Medi‑Cal, MSI, Champus, commercial).
