Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospice, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, is hiring a Clinical Director to assist the Executive Director with clinical oversight of hospice services and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on staffing, education, and maintaining high-quality patient care within a compliant framework.

You will lead day-to-day clinical operations, partner with hospital and community physicians, and drive performance improvement while ensuring cost-effective, compassionate care for patients

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years of experience in a hospice, home health, or other health care service delivery system setting.
• 2+ years of healthcare leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Director in clinical oversight of hospice services.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and staff training.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid hospice regulations and policies.
• Monitor patient care against plan of care and physician orders.
• Lead staffing recruitment and retention to ensure adequate coverage.
• Collaborate with hospice physicians and community doctors to drive clinical excellence.
• Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Governing Body meetings and liaison with staff, families, and management.
