Job summary

Affinity Health Management seeks a Director of Clinical Services to lead the hospice clinical program in Virginia. The role oversees the Interdisciplinary Group, delegates nursing services, and drives goals aligned with quality standards and organizational philosophy.

The DCS will guide clinical managers, ensure compliance with laws and CHAP standards, and participate in budget and performance improvement activities. Strong leadership and nursing credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse with license in good standing to practice in Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with management experience or RN with 4 years in hospice/healthcare with supervisory/administrative capacity.
• Post-offer background checks required by regulation.

Responsibilities

• Designates an alternate in writing for DCS duties.
• Supervises direct and indirect patient services by clinical staff.
• Guides coordinators and Clinical Managers to improve hospice care.
• Assists Clinical Managers in team management and planning.
• Involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient/family care.
• Assists in budget preparation and administration.
