Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in good standing to practice.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing with 3 years management experience in hospice/related health care in last 5 years, or RN with 4 years in hospice/home health/clinic with 1+ year supervisory capacity.
• Satisfactory references and criminal background checks required after offer.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise professional and administrative personnel.
• Ability to market and interact tactfully with customers and community.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured vehicle in good working order.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR certification required (hands-on verification preferred).
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse preferred.
• Knowledge of business management, regulations and CHAP standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designates an alternate in writing to fulfill DCS duties.
• Supervises all patient services provided by clinical personnel.
• Provides guidance to coordinators and Clinical Managers for care improvements.
• Assists Clinical Managers in team management and planning.
• Assists in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient/family care.
• Assists with budget preparation and administration.
