Everything But The House (EBTH) is seeking a Senior Watch Specialist/Horologist to lead authentication, valuation, and cataloging of vintage and luxury timepieces. In a fast-paced e-commerce environment, you will leverage deep horological expertise, specialized tools, and industry contacts to ensure accurate valuations, minimize returns, and maximize catalog throughput.

Cincinnati, OH-based role requires 5+ years of professional watch experience and a passion for watch history.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in luxury watch evaluation or related fields.
• AWCI-CW21 or equivalent horology certification, estate jewelry, or auction house cataloging

Responsibilities

• Authentication & valuation: evaluate authenticity and market value of watches using tools and literature.
• Cataloging & description: write precise, historically accurate listings to minimize returns.
• Throughput & workflow: maintain high-volume cataloging schedules without compromising standards.
• Industry engagement: build relationships with horology experts and service networks.
• Quality assurance: drive improvements in cataloging accuracy and quality benchmarks.
• Cross-category support: assist with adjacent categories such as fine jewelry and precious metals.
