A leading auction house in collectibles seeks an experienced expert in vintage and modern timepieces for their Beverly Hills location. The role involves sourcing quality consignments, authenticating timepieces, and negotiating consignor terms. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience in a major auction house or as a watch dealer, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office. This position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $125,000, complemented by benefits such as medical coverage and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Experienced with fine timepieces in a major auction house or as a watch dealer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Source quality consignments from collectors and retailers.
• Ensure proper authentication and evaluation of timepieces.
• Negotiate consignor terms under company guidelines.
• Create and proofread catalog descriptions and marketing materials.
• Attend trade shows to develop partnerships and evaluate the marketplace.
