You will investigate and determine coverage and damages, negotiate settlements, and guide junior staff. The role requires strong expertise in Homeowners claims, subrogation assessment, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve favorable outcomes while operating within authority limits.

Qualifikationen

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for the most complex Homeowners claims.
• Determine coverage, damages, and negotiate claims within limit of authority.
• Provide guidance to junior employees.

Aufgaben

• Applies extensive experience in the Adjuster II level or rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, Desk Review)
• For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome
• Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems
• Identifies the most complex customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Demonstrates advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of the most complex Homeowners first party claims (coverage, damages and subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
