Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; college degree in construction management preferred.
• 4–10 years construction supervision or project oversight experience.
• Advanced training in trades within residential building industry preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding, building codes, ROC.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect framing, stucco, electrical, plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to deliver quality home.
• Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.
• Ensure building codes and Meritage standards are met.
• Conduct walk-through inspections with homeowner.
• Enforce safety standards on job sites; communicate safety to crews.
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite and subdivision.
• Interact daily with company departments, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.
• Attend construction, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
