Ameris Bank is seeking a Senior Homebuilder Relationship Manager to create and manage Homebuilder relationships in the market. You will cultivate client relationships, tailor financial solutions, and manage a portfolio of loans and deposits to meet growth targets.

The role requires deep knowledge of residential construction lending, strong consultative sales skills, and the ability to analyze financials and market data. Excellent collaboration with Homebuilder Banking Specialists is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of lending experience to residential construction or related field.
• Knowledge of construction industry business cycles and lending requirements.
• Ability to read house plans and understand construction techniques.
• Strong communication and consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages Homebuilder relationships within the assigned market.
• Cultivates customer relationships and serves as banking consultant to meet loan, deposit and mortgage needs.
• Oversees portfolio quality and growth, ensuring adherence to bank policy and risk guidelines.
• Drives new client acquisitions and expands mortgage and banking opportunities.
• Collaborates with Homebuilder Banking Specialists to minimize exceptions and maximize cross-sell.
