Job summary

Ameris Bank seeks a Homebuilder Portfolio Manager to optimize portfolio growth, manage loan structures, and ensure compliance. You will handle financial analyses, support underwriters, and drive cross-sell opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires 2+ years in corporate lending analysis and a business-related degree, with responsibilities spanning loan requests, renewals, and portfolio monitoring across our Southeast footprint.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience analyzing and/or structuring loan transactions in a corporate lending environment.
• Academic bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Uses CRM and bank tools to track and log activities, manage pipeline, and submit loan requests.
• Collects customer financials including loan applications, tax returns, income statements, and bank statements.
• Reviews financials to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Assists Underwriters in loan approval processes and prepares documents for Loan Committee.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and supports marketing efforts.
