Ameris Bank seeks a Senior Homebuilder Banking Specialist to support Homebuilder Relationship Managers in servicing a growing construction loan portfolio. You will handle loan closings, documentation, and partner with internal teams to ensure smooth processing from application through funding.

Ideal candidates bring 6–8 years in construction lending or real estate loan processing, a Finance-related Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with loan platforms like nCino.

Qualifications

• Understanding loan terminology and closing workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple operational tasks and loans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum typing speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accept and process new loan requests and renewals accurately and timely.
• Prepare loan documents and maintain loan logs.
• Coordinate with attorneys and closings to ensure timely processing.
• Review appraisals and closing packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Support senior managers in tracking lots, collateral, and development loans.
