Job summary

Easy Home Sale is seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general home repairs across vacant and rental properties. Independence and the ability to complete tasks without constant supervision are key.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on construction or remodeling experience, are comfortable traveling between properties, and willing to respond to after‑hours maintenance requests. Full‑time, year‑round position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands‑on residential maintenance, home repair, remodeling, construction, or property‑turn experience.
• Strong working knowledge of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete common repairs independently.
• General carpentry and residential repair skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel between properties and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Availability for required on‑call responsibilities and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair common residential heating and HVAC problems.
• Troubleshoot furnaces, boilers, baseboard heating, thermostats, pumps, zone valves, and related components.
• Complete plumbing repairs involving leaks, faucets, toilets, drains, shutoff valves, supply lines, fixtures, and water heaters.
• Perform light electrical repairs involving outlets, switches, lighting, fans, and basic troubleshooting.
• Inspect properties, identify repair needs, and prepare material lists.
• Complete residential maintenance, remodeling, and property-turn projects.
• Repair and install cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and baseboards.
• Complete drywall, painting, framing, subfloor, and flooring‑preparation work.
• Troubleshoot appliances and other common household maintenance issues.
• Coordinate contractors when specialized or licensed work is required.
• Communicate project progress, material needs, and potential delays.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Respond to after‑hours maintenance calls.
