Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Home Loan Processing Specialist to support our Home Loan Operations team. This remote California-based role handles loan processing coordination, documentation collection, and input of loan conditions in the LOS to ensure accurate, timely processing.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 2+ years mortgage lending experience or processing experience, and a strong emphasis on compliance and customer service. Non-exempt status; pay range $20.50–$22.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
• Operational knowledge in lending or processing is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate information with Members, Home Loan Advisors and Vendors on loan processing.
• Coordinate ordering of title reports, flood certificates and follow-up on appraisal orders; assist in collection of loan documentation.
• Prepare and upload loan conditions into the LOS for tracking.
