Regions Hospital is seeking a Health Information Coding Analyst to join our team. You will support multiple sites and perform complex coding scenarios to ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding for inpatient and outpatient encounters.

The ideal candidate has Home Health/Hospice coding experience and strong knowledge of documentation review and coding guidelines. If you are detail-oriented and collaborative, this role offers growth in a specialized coding area.

Qualificações

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in health information or coding program.
• 3–5 years’ ICD-10/CPT coding experience.
• Certification exams such as AHIMA or AAPC preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Select diagnoses and procedures per current coding guidelines for inpatient and outpatient.
• Review provider documentation to determine principal diagnosis and comorbidities.
• Apply ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding rules accurately.
• Assist in training and collaborate with team to improve coding quality.
• Support UHDDS data elements and DRG assignments.
