Job summary

Tower Federal Credit Union seeks a Supervisor, Home Equity Processing to lead a team of Home Equity Loan Processors, manage pipeline, monitor file flow, and ensure closing dates are met. The role emphasizes process improvements and adherence to LOS, with a focus on member service and efficiency.

You will mentor staff, perform QC reviews, collaborate with the Real Estate Lending team, and maintain regulatory knowledge including CFPB and HMDA requirements to support accurate and timely loan

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in real estate lending operations.
• One to two years supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal mortgage laws (RESPA, HMDA, TILA, ECOA).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and mortgage loan origination software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Home Equity Processor team and monitors workload and output.
• Trains and mentors new Home Equity Processors.
• Performs monthly QC review of a sample of loans.
• Analyzes documentation to ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborates with Real Estate Lending team to resolve issues.
• Maintains procedures and training materials for the team.
• Ensures compliance with CFPB, HMDA, TILA, RESPA, and SAFE Act.
• Escalates member service issues to management.
• Keeps confidentiality of member information.
• Works within time constraints in a high-pressure environment.
