Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Home Delivery Coordinator/Case Worker to oversee the Home Delivered Meal Program and assist with Congregate Meal Service operations. The role includes client assessments, route planning, and supervision of staff and volunteers.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in social service, current CPR/First Aid/AED, and Serv-Safe certification. Strong communication and program management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social service or equivalent experience.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required and up to date.
• Serv-Safe Food Handling certification required and current within 3 months of hire if needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage Home Delivered Meal Program operations and administration.
• Assess clients’ needs and conduct reassessments; determine ADL/IADL limitations.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; ensure safety, compliance, and quality service.
• Coordinate delivery routes, meal packing, and program promotion.
• Maintain documentation and liaise with other program areas as needed.
