Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a HITL Engineer to lead automated software testing and hands-on development of test environments for the Army Next Generation C2 capabilities. You will architect and build HITL solutions, train Army Soldiers, and drive execution across test campaigns in a dynamic, cross-functional setting.

The role emphasizes scripting, automation, collaboration with program stakeholders, and occasional travel to remote locations, with a focus on delivering rigorous, repeatable test

Qualifications

• Experience executing Command & Control (C2) software and hardware systems testing in lab and field environments.
• Strong background in RF comms, datalinks, tactical radios, and network analysis.
• Proven ability to plan, test, report, and drive CI/CD for automated tests.
• Linux-based systems experience and scripting in Go/Java/C++/Python/JS.
• Familiar with DoD-like testing protocols and security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead automated testing campaigns for Connected Warfare systems within accelerated cycles.
• Develop and execute automated testing strategies aligned with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with PM, test leads, and engineering to manage test campaigns and data.
• Architect, build, test and train end users (Army Soldiers) on HITL systems.
• Collect data, perform initial analysis, and drive process improvements.
• Automate issue investigation and contribute to test environment management.
• Analyze results, track trends, and recommend enhancements with engineering teams.
• Coordinate testing with external agencies and ensure safety and compliance.
