Job summary

ICF is seeking a Lead Historic Preservation Specialist to provide regional leadership and client-facing guidance on environmental compliance projects. This part-time role (30 hours/week) includes mentoring junior professionals, overseeing budgets, and engaging with clients on proposals and schedules.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in architectural history, regulatory compliance, and project management, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks across engagements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architectural History or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in architectural history, including report QA/QC.
• Manage projects related to environmental compliance and cultural resource management, including budget control and invoicing.
• Evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places and provide high-level regulatory support.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams of cultural resources specialists to solve complex problems.
• Integrate with clients to achieve long-term objectives from planning through maintenance.
