Job summary

ICF is seeking a Lead Historic Preservation Specialist to provide regional leadership on complex environmental compliance projects. This part-time role (30 hours/week) involves mentoring junior staff and serving as a client-facing technical lead in architectural history and cultural resources management.

You will manage projects, develop proposals, coordinate budgets and schedules, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver regulatory solutions for National Register considerations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architectural History or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in cultural resources management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in architectural history, including approach development and QA/QC for reports prepared by junior staff.
• Manage projects related to environmental compliance and cultural resource management, including client contact, budget control, and scheduling.
• Evaluate resources for National Register of Historic Places and develop management recommendations.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to solve problems with scientists, planners, regulators and stakeholders.
• Integrate with clients to achieve long-term objectives from feasibility studies through operations and maintenance.
