Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a Histology Technologist III to support pathology workflows, including embedding, microtomy, IHC staining on Ventana and Dako platforms, QC, and slide handling. Under supervision, you will ensure diagnostic specimen integrity and accurate labeling throughout processing.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IHC/histology, HT/HTL (ASCP) certification, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant laboratory science.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an IHC/histology laboratory
• HT/HTL (ASCP) certification
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science
• Clinical laboratory training program approved by ABHES or CAAHEP is acceptable

Responsibilities

• Performs embedding, microtomy, and routine histology tasks.
• Conducts high-complexity IHC staining (Ventana, Dako) and QC.
• Maintains labeling accuracy and case traceability in LIS and logs.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and reports maintenance needs.
• Collaborates with IHC leadership and assists in training new staff.
