Job summary

Required are 5+ years in high-complexity histology, IHC/IF/EM experience, and strong computer skills. This on-site role offers leadership opportunities within the Histology Department.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a high-complexity histology lab including special stains, IHC, EM, or IF.
• 3 years experience for exceptional internal candidates.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and assist staffing under leadership.
• Proficient with computers, including Excel and web-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full range of histology tasks per SOPs.
• Ensure SL staff follow SOPs and quality controls.
• Lead workflow optimization and resource allocation.
• Train Histotechnologists I/II and Lab Support staff.
• Serve as technical on-call for off-shifts and problem solve.
