Job summary

As our HIM Specialist Sr, you will play a pivotal role in the revenue cycle by maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and availability of patient health records throughout the medical record lifecycle.

You will serve as a key resource within our Health Information Management department, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards and HIPAA privacy laws while supporting providers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Health Information Management experience in an acute care or healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and availability of patient health records across the medical record lifecycle.
• Support ROI requests and release of information while ensuring regulatory compliance and HIPAA privacy standards.
• Manage record completion processes, reconcile rejected orders, and support data quality initiatives to drive operational excellence.
