Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software and systems development experience including HIL systems.
• Working knowledge of power conversion components (DC/DC converters, chargers, DCFC).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and validation toolchains.
• Proven leadership across distributed or global engineering teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HIL systems and tools for automated testing of BMS and power conversion components.
• Collaborate with Controls Architecture, BMS Hardware/Software, and Power Conversion teams to align HIL with needs.
• Expand MIL/SIL/PIL testing methods to accelerate validation.
• Evaluate toolchains and processes to meet current and future software testing needs worldwide.
• Lead the technical interface between global teams for software toolset development and reporting.
• Own budgeting and procurement for hardware and software for BMS HIL, Power HIL, and HV simulation.
• Maintain documentation for HIL system designs and toolsets.
• Support the BMS validation team to ensure on-time, high-quality software validation.
