Job summary

Ford is seeking a HIL Development Supervisor to lead the development and maintenance of Hardware-in-the-Loop systems supporting our Battery Management System and power conversion components. You will shape the test infrastructure and development toolchain behind next-generation electrified vehicle systems, while coordinating with global engineering teams.

This is a leadership role requiring 8+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering robust validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software and systems development experience, with familiarity across software specification, development, and validation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and validation toolchains.
• Proven leadership experience working across distributed or global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HIL systems and supporting tools for automated testing of BMS and power conversion components.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align HIL capability with development needs.
• Expand MIL/SIL/PIL testing methods to accelerate validation.
• Evaluate and recommend toolchains and processes for global engineering sites.
• Lead the technical interface between global teams on software toolset development.
