Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an HIL Development Supervisor to lead hardware-in-the-loop systems for BMS and power conversion validation. You will champion toolchains, methods, and processes across global teams, shaping test infrastructure for electrified vehicle programs.

This leadership role requires a strong background in HIL systems, software development, and test automation, with proven ability to bridge distributed engineering groups and drive robust validation results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software and systems development experience, esp. HIL.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and validation toolchains.
• Proven leadership across distributed or global engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HIL systems and tools for automated testing of BMS and power components.
• Collaborate with Controls Architecture, BMS Hardware/Software, and Power Conversion teams.
• Advance MIL/SIL/PIL testing methods to accelerate validation.
• Evaluate toolchains and processes for current and future needs across sites.
• Lead interfaces between global teams for toolset development and status reporting.
• Own budgeting and procurement for HIL hardware and software.
• Maintain documentation for HIL designs and toolsets.
