French & Parrello Associates in Camden, NJ, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Highway & Traffic practice. You will guide complex transportation projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships while delivering on-time, within-budget results.

This role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, proposal development, and strategic planning to grow the firm’s transportation practice in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey.
• 12+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
• Experience managing highway, traffic, and transportation improvement projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Strong leadership and client-relations skills.
• Knowledge of NJDOT and PennDOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and Project Principal on transportation projects for local, county, state, and federal agencies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction support phases.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall performance.
• Oversee the preparation of design plans, specs, cost estimates, technical reports, and supporting documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable design standards and agency requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, utilities, and stakeholders throughout project development.
• Lead proposal development, including technical approaches and fee estimates.
• Mentor engineering staff and support business development initiatives.
