Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Highway Project Manager to lead major roadway and highway projects in New Jersey and the Northeast. You will oversee concepts through final design and construction, guiding multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license, with a track record of delivering highway projects for NJDOT, NJTA, county or municipal agencies. A Master’s degree and PMP are desirable; hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required or assumed to be in progress.
• Experience with NJDOT/NJTA/municipal clients preferred.
• Experience delivering highway/roadway projects and cost estimates.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Knowledge of transportation design standards and project delivery processes.
• Experience drafting technical writeups and graphics for proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead highway/roadway projects through all development phases.
• Direct multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with clients/stakeholders.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance on transportation initiatives.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.
