Job summary

Artheon is seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to join our transportation engineering team in Berlin or East Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will have approximately 15 or more years of experience in highway design and transportation engineering, with a strong background managing roadway and transportation projects from concept through completion.

A New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 15+ years of progressive experience in highway design and transportation engineering.
• PE license in New Jersey preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NJTA, NJDOT, and AASHTO design standards.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage highway and transportation projects from planning and design through final delivery, including scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Highway and Roadway Design: Provide technical oversight for highway design, alignments, typical sections, cross-sections, and safety enhancements.
• Client Management: Serve as primary point of contact for clients and agencies, communicating status, priorities, schedules, and budgets.
• Project Coordination: Lead coordination with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Safety Improvements and MPT: Oversee safety improvements and MPT plans, including signage and barrier design.
