Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks a Senior Highway Project Manager to lead our roadway design team in West Virginia, with options to report from Scott Depot or Morgantown offices. The role emphasizes design leadership, client liaison, and cross-state coordination on highway projects.

You will guide a team across WV, OH, and KY, develop project criteria, foster collaboration, and ensure designs meet the highest standards while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10-15 years of roadway design experience.
• Familiarity with West Virginia Division of Highways Design Directives is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD using MicroStation and ORD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expanding highway design team across West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky.
• Build effective client relationships with the client and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare and complete engineering designs that meet project needs.
• Complete tasks within the assigned schedule and budget.
• Develop project design criteria, calculations, details, and estimates.
• Mentor staff in the advancement of highway design.
