Job summary

GPI is an multi-discipline engineering firm offering planning, design, and construction services for transportation infrastructure and building system projects across the United States. We seek a Transportation Senior Project Manager to lead diverse transportation projects from Scott Depot, WV, with a strong emphasis on team collaboration and client relations.

The ideal candidate holds a PE or Professional Surveyor License, 10+ years in the field, and experience with WVDOH, AML, and USACE.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation project management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in related field (MS preferred).
• PE licensure or Professional Surveyor's License.
• WVDOT TRETCNO certification a plus.
• Experience with WVDOH, AML, and USACE required.
• Experience with county and municipal clients a plus.
• Quality control, quality assurance, and project management experience required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of transportation projects.
• Independently coordinate the work of engineers and balance the project delivery team throughout the entire project's development.
• Establish client relations and be involved with marketing and proposal development, contractual matters, design and production meetings.
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents with staff from other technical disciplines.
• Coordinate workload throughout project development and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
• Track and manage project budgets.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Open Roads, Civil-3D with minimal guidance.
