GFT is seeking a Sr. Highway/Roadway Project Engineer to support its Transportation group in the Midwest. The role requires leading roadway design, coordinating with state and municipal clients, and mentoring junior staff within a hybrid Kansas City/Saint Louis region.

Strong PE credentials and 10+ years of highway design are expected. You will design, document, and manage tasks to ensure on‑time delivery, quality, and client satisfaction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and

Qualifikationen

• ABET‑accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer license in KS/MO/NE or ability to licensure soon.
• 10+ years in transportation design with highway experience.
• Experience with State DOT/local projects and strong technical skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead design concepts and research complex project elements.
• Interpret and coordinate large engineering assignments.
• Collaborate across disciplines including transit, bridges, geotech, and env.
• Develop proposals as a technical specialist and oversee scopes.
• Manage roadway personnel, QA/QC reviews, and project budgets.
