Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• CDL Class A or B with air brakes and tanker endorsements required within 60 days.
• Experience operating heavy highway maintenance equipment preferred.
• A valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement may be required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and light equipment to perform highway maintenance tasks.
• Use tractors with attachments to maintain highways and rights-of-way.
• Install signs, fences, guardrails, and other safety features.
• Perform tree trimming, brush cutting, and building maintenance.
• Paint buildings and repair concrete/bituminous surfaces as needed.
• Provide traffic control and safety during construction and maintenance.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and basic repairs.
