Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Highway Maintenance Worker: Class A or B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements within 60 days of employment.
• Highway Maintenance Worker/Senior: Class A CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and light equipment to transport crews or materials to work sites.
• Operate tractors with attachments to maintain highways and right-of-ways.
• Install signs, fences, and guardrails; use hand tools as needed.
• Perform patching, sealing, and painting of highways and structures.
• Provide highway traffic control and move/load equipment safely.
• Conduct snow removal and general maintenance on equipment.
