Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• License/Certification: Valid Commercial Driver's License, Class A (CDL-A) with appropriate tank endorsement.
• Must meet minimum requirements for pre-employment and DOT medical card as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots complex highway maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Maintains assigned equipment and performs field repairs and adjustments.
• Responds to winter maintenance and traffic emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
• Supervises small crews and entry-level workers to ensure safety and workmanship.
