Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Requires six years progressively responsible experience in professional engineering work related to roadway design and construction, including two years supervisory experience.
• Possess and maintain Professional Engineer License in State of Florida for duration of assignment.
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• CTQP Certifications or similar credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns, and supervises engineering design projects including plan design and cost estimates.
• Directs field surveys, plan design, preparation and review, and specifications preparation.
• Supervises analysis/review of studies and designs by consultants; prepares recommendations for leadership.
• Oversees right-of-way and construction plans for major streets; liaises with external agencies.
• Supervises field engineers, inspectors, and materials technicians on water/sewer and road projects; reviews payment estimates.
