H&H is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join the firm's New Jersey Regional Operation. This role leads roadway and highway design for NJDOT and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, overseeing geometry, drainage, staging, traffic protection, and right-of-way coordination.

This role includes project management and technical leadership, with oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary design teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of highway/roadway design experience.
• NJ Professional Engineer license required.
• Familiarity with NJDOT and Turnpike design standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering teams in delivering multidisciplinary transportation projects.
• Prepare and oversee roadway design plans, calculations, specs, and permits.
• Support projects involving roadway geometry, complete streets, drainage, and traffic control.
• Provide technical QA/QC reviews.
• Oversee construction support, reviews of submittals and RFIs.
• Assist with business development, client coordination, and proposals.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams for project delivery.
