H&H seeks a Senior Highway Engineer for its New Jersey Regional Operation. You will lead roadway design, manage projects, and coordinate with NJDOT and Turnpike Authority teams across complex transportation programs.

The role demands a PE license in New Jersey, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, Primavera, and MS Office. Strong leadership and communication are essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of highway, interchange, or roadway design experience.
• Familiarity with NJDOT standards and New Jersey Turnpike Authority procedures.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams in delivering multidisciplinary transportation projects.
• Prepare and oversee roadway design plans, calculations, specifications, and permits.
• Support projects involving roadway geometry, complete streets, drainage, and traffic control staging.
• Provide QA/QC reviews and oversight of submittals and RFIs.
• Assist with business development, client coordination, and proposals.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams to ensure delivery.
