Job summary

EMH&T in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our Transportation Planning and Design team. You will contribute to project development and plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques to meet client needs.

Typical projects involve design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation focus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio.
• 8–10 years of civil engineering experience; ODOT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project development and plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques.
• Contribute to highways/roadways, interchange, and drainage design and reviews.
• Coordinate with public regulatory agencies and utilities.
• Mentor team members and act as a technical lead within the group.
