Job summary

State of Illinois is seeking a Highway Data Manager in Springfield to oversee the Illinois Roadway Information System (IRIS), guiding highway data collection, processing and analysis for the Illinois Department of Transportation.

You will develop data policies, direct federal data submittals, maintain GIS base layers, and train staff across central and district offices, ensuring data quality and accessibility for planning and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent data management experience.
• Two years of data management experience or eight years total.
• Strong knowledge of data governance and federal/state data regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IRIS data collection, processing and analysis for IDOT.
