Job summary

MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) seeks an experienced Project Manager to act as owner’s representative in higher education, medical, and laboratory facilities. You will guide design, construction, and turnover, ensuring scope, budget, and quality meet client goals.

The role requires 15+ years in construction management with progressive leadership in project controls and scheduling, coordinating designers, contractors, and owner personnel to deliver complex campus infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of related experience in higher education, healthcare, labs, and campus infrastructure.
• Progressive career development in project controls, scheduling, and construction management.
• Experience as an owner’s representative on design and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project effort for the client and coordinate design, contractor, and owner teams.
• Provide recommendations on design and construction issues for medical, lab, and research facilities.
• Monitor budgets and schedules and verify alignment with project goals.
• Attend client meetings as Owner’s Representative and report progress.
• Prepare vendor proposals, change orders, and invoices for owner approval.
• Supervise project staff and ensure delivery within plans, budget, and quality.
