MBP is seeking a Senior Project Manager with at least 15 years of experience to lead large-scale capital programs and complex design/construction initiatives in Charleston, SC. The role oversees a portfolio of architectural, building, infrastructure, and campus development projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, and schedules.

The position requires executive leadership, governance, and strong stakeholder engagement across multiple departments and partners.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading large-scale capital programs and complex design/construction initiatives.
• Programs valued over $500M with multiple concurrent projects ($25–$150M).
• Experience in higher education, municipal, or K–12 educational facility programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large program management team and oversee consultants, designers, and construction managers.
• Drive program planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout aligned with client objectives, budget, and schedule.
• Establish governance, drive decision-making, and ensure effective communication across the organization.
• Provide executive stakeholder engagement and risk management across the portfolio.
• Develop and oversee budgets, procurement support, and contract administration.
• Coordinate with client departments, public agencies, educational stakeholders, and community partners.
• Support team member training, performance reviews, and professional development.
