Job summary

MBP is seeking an experienced Higher Education Project Manager to oversee design, construction, and turnover for a mix of academic, medical, laboratory, and campus infrastructure projects in New Haven, CT.

The role requires leadership of project teams, coordination across designers, contractors, and owner personnel, and ensuring budgets and schedules align with institutional goals. The candidate should have extensive experience in higher education and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Evidence of progressive career development in project controls, schedule management, and construction management in higher education, healthcare, laboratories, and campus infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project effort for the client, including leading a team and coordinating designer, contractor, and owner personnel.
• Provide design/construction input for large to mid-scale projects with medical, laboratory, and research focus.
• Verify quality, budget, and schedule goals are incorporated into project plans.
• Attend client meetings as Owner's Representative and prepare recommendations concerning delivery and vendor performance.
