Job summary

Digital Prospectors seeks a Senior PCB Designer to lead the design, layout, and documentation of complex multi‑layer PCBs from schematics through manufacturing delivery, ensuring IPC compliance, manufacturability, and high reliability.

You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers, develop ECAD libraries in Altium Designer, manage multi‑project schedules, and provide technical support to fabrication and assembly partners to achieve on‑time production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB design experience in multi-layer boards.
• Experience with blind and buried vias.
• Active U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs complex PCB layouts and documents fabrication data.
• Translates requirements into manufacturable board designs.
• Generates BOMs, Gerber/ODB++ files, and assembly drawings.
• Develops and maintains ECAD libraries.
• Performs routing for digital, DDR4, RF and power circuitry.
• Supports external manufacturing and resolves layout issues.
