Job summary

Amphenol Corporation, through Amphenol Communications Solutions, seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead development of High Speed IO products in Etters, PA. You will drive concept, design, verification and qualification for 112Gb signaling and beyond, ensuring manufacturability and meeting customer requirements.

You will collaborate with global teams and suppliers, perform FMEA, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability, while guiding product reviews and translating

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in a related field with focus on high speed IO or connectors.
• Familiar with high speed cable assemblies and/or connector design.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and industry standards.
• BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with SolidWorks, FEA (ANYSYS preferred), GD&T and Statistical methods.
• Ability to work within a project team and communicate with global stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for High Speed IO products targeting 112Gb signaling and beyond.
• Ensure manufacturability and conformance to customer requirements (electrical, mechanical, environmental).
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing.
• Perform Design FMEA, tolerance analysis, DFM, FEA and risk analysis.
• Define product, application, and packaging specifications and verification tests.
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers as appropriate.
