Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, part of Amphenol ICC, seeks a Product Development Engineer (Mechanical Design) to design high-speed IO products for 112Gb signaling and beyond. You will manage concept to qualification, coordinating with global teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline or related work.
• 4–7 years industry experience; high-speed cable or connector knowledge a plus.
• Design for signal integrity and experience with GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop IO connector systems and cable assemblies.
• Perform Design FMEA, tolerance analysis, FEA, and risk analyses.
• Collaborate with Marketing and customers to define needs and requirements.
• Lead design reviews and ensure manufacturing compatibility.
• Interface with suppliers and internal teams to transition to production.
