Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification preferred.
• 3-5 years in equipment service, repair or maintenance with supervisory/lead experience.
• Strong mechanical/technical knowledge of heavy equipment, safety, and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with service/work order software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assign jobs and work areas to service technicians based on skill level and workload.
• Oversee reconditioning of used equipment and setup of new equipment.
• Review repair work orders for accuracy; approve equipment release to customers.
• Diagnose machine problems with technicians; provide hands-on instruction.
• Schedule and conduct in-house technician training programs.
• Evaluate incoming repairs and participate in repairs as needed.
• Communicate customer complaints and service issues to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to service orders and activity.
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
