The position requires CDL (Texas) and a valid driver's license, plus the ability to work independently on assignments and report to supervision for unusual issues.

Qualifications

• Education: No formal education required.
• Experience: 1 year in maintenance and/or construction equipment operation.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license and Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist local law enforcement at accident sites and stranded motorists.
• Assist with traffic control; set up and remove cones, signs, barricades.
• Complete reports: time-keeping, PMI checklists, equipment forms; track work in progress.
• Operate light and heavy equipment as trained (loader, roller, backhoe, street sweeper, etc).
• Perform PMI, routine servicing and minor repairs; move tools and tires as needed.
• Relocate equipment using tractor-trailer haul trucks; ensure load securement per laws.
