Job summary
GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy construction equipment used in roadway safety operations in Erie, Colorado. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and safety.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment, strong troubleshooting in hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems, welding and fabrication skills, and a valid driver’s license with CDL
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting across hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience required or highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL within timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, and specialty machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel systems.
- Complete welding and light fabrication to support repair and modification.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform timely, safe repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and parts usage.
