Job summary

GeoStabilization International® is looking for a frontline mechanic to maintain critical equipment on active job sites. The role requires diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in demanding environments, while also performing preventative maintenance.

Candidates should have experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and be willing to travel up to 100%. Compensation ranges from $33 to $42 per hour, plus overtime, with benefits including medical and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic essential.
• Strong troubleshooting required in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Execute rapid-response repairs to ensure crew operationality.
• Document work, parts, and equipment status accurately.
• Train operators on maintenance and issue detection.
